Meet Our Director:
Kerra Monroe

My name is Kerra Monroe, and I am honored to be your new School Director. I grew up here. As a proud Upper Arlington High School graduate, my roots in this community run deep, and getting to serve the families in the place that helped raise me is not something I take lightly.

I've spent more than eight years working with children, families, and educators. As a lead teacher, assistant director, and director at another daycare center in central Ohio. What began as a love for teaching grew into a love for leadership: building places where children, families, and teachers all feel supported. Becoming a mother to my own two children deepened my respect for the trust you place in us every morning at drop-off.

I also want to say that I am stepping into a school that is already strong. The teachers, admins, and owners here have shown real dedication, and my first job is to learn from them, not to change what's working.

Strong schools are built on strong relationships. You'll find me in the classrooms rather than behind a desk. I want to know your child's name, their quirks, and what makes their mornings easier. I want our teachers to feel valued and to keep growing, because people who feel supported do their best work with children. Outside of Barrington, I'm usually with my husband and our two kids, cheering on the Buckeyes, cooking, or out with our family's horses. Some of you may also know my family's restaurant, Trattoria Roma in Grandview, I grew up there.
