Through Literature;
We will appreciate Black History Month with your young scholar through storytelling! With age appropriate books, we can relate Black History to our own lives and prompt conversations about love, acceptance and equality. These books stay in our classrooms for us to enjoy all year long.
Through Art and Music;
Children are fabulous at expressing themselves through art and music! Another way we will recognize and celebrate Black History Month is using these two important tools. Through drawing, painting, musical instruments, and more, we can illustrate what empathy, love and kindness means to us.
