Meet Our Director: Megan Doughty

With more than 15 years of experience in the childcare and early education field, I bring a deep passion for supporting children, families, and educators. Over the course of my career, I have served as a teacher, curriculum coordinator, and director, giving me a well-rounded perspective on both classroom excellence and program leadership. In addition to my work in education, I have also held roles as an Operations Manager and Vendor Relationship Manager, expanding my expertise in organizational management and building strong, collaborative partnerships.
 
As a mom to my 11-year-old daughter, Peyton, and my 1-year-old son, Hayes, I understand firsthand the trust families place in us each day. That personal experience drives my commitment to creating nurturing, joyful, and safe learning environments for all children.
 
I love being part of Barrington because my values closely align with its philosophy, especially the Conscious Discipline approach and the emphasis on wholesome, organic food. It feels meaningful to work for an organization that prioritizes emotional intelligence, respect, and wellness just as much as I do.
