Healthy Habits Start Small: How We Feed Our Littlest Foodies

We believe one of the most meaningful ways to support children’s growth is by nurturing healthy habits early on. The first years of life are a time of rapid growth and development, and healthy eating lays the foundation for strong bodies, curious minds, and overall well-being. In fact, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) reports that a child's nutrition in the first 2 years of life (1000 days) directly impacts a child’s neurodevelopment and lifelong mental health.
That’s why nutrition is a cornerstone of our approach in each of our daycare programs. From the time your child begins eating solids, we provide USDA Organic Certified meals – all included in your tuition. Our on-site chef prepares organic, nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as organic baby purees, ensuring every meal supports healthy growth while introducing your child to a love of wholesome foods.
Here are some of our favorite recipes (as rated by our most fickle foodies!)
Keep an eye out for more organic recipes on our blog.
We also encourage Family Style Dining to help children practice serving correct portion sizes and listening to their body for hunger cues. We practice scooping and pouring at school to develop motor skills and help prevent spills, both here and at home! By helping children develop positive eating habits and an understanding of how to care for their bodies from a young age, we’re setting them up for a lifetime of healthy choices. It’s just one of the many ways we nurture bright futures for our littlest learners.
